Moving portrait about female identity in the Baroque era
Creating a work that is neither a painting nor a photograph, neither an animation nor a video clip, neither an info screen nor a digital signage, but “something else”. The topic explores the role of noblewomen in the Baroque period.
“A portrait of a woman in the baroque era. She is trapped in the image that society forces her to be. A woman must be nothing more than a birthing machine, a piece of jewellery and a political pawn. But in the midst of this pressure, which tries to deprive her of all self-determination, she retains her dignity.”
